Guía Macarfi

Guía Macarfi, founded in 2015, covers some 5,000 restaurants across mainland Spain — Madrid and Barcelona have the most entries — and is built on reviews from more than 2,000 independent local «ambassadors». Only the listing counts here. Two things worth saying out loud: Macarfi publishes numeric scores and an annual ranking, and we reproduce neither; and the guide carries sponsors, partner hotels and a paid club, which we cannot audit from outside. So this credential carries less weight than a Michelin star or a Wikipaella distinction, and it appears here named and dated so you can weigh it yourself.
